Sr. Mariska Mostert
Healthcare Manager
Sr. Mariska Mostert brings over 20 years of dedicated nursing experience to Manor Health Services. She completed her Diploma in General, Community, Psychiatric Nursing, and Midwifery in 2002 at the South African Military Health Services Nursing College in Pretoria. Her early career included pivotal roles at 2 Military Hospitals in the medical ward and at the King Abdulaziz Medical Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she gained invaluable international experience.
Before relocating to Cape Town, Mariska served as the Unit Manager at Huis Elsje, a specialised Alzheimer’s unit in Mossel Bay, for five years. She then spent six years at Santos Haven Retirement Village, enhancing her expertise in geriatric care. In Cape Town, Mariska worked at Booth Memorial Hospital, where she cared for the frail, elderly, and adults needing rehabilitation.
Since joining the team at Helderberg Manor in November 2022, Mariska’s exceptional leadership and clinical skills led to her promotion to Healthcare Manager. Her passion for geriatrics, dementia care, and psychiatry shines through in every aspect of her work. Mariska is deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment for residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
